Filter Press

► A filter press is a tool used in separation processes, specifically in solid/liquid separation using the principle of pressure drive, provided by a slurry pump.
► The major components of a filter press are the skeleton and the filter pack.

Oil Skimmer

► An oil skimmer is a machine that separates a liquid from particles floating on it or from another liquid.
► Oil skimmers are commonly found in three types: weir and oleophilic and non-oleophilic (disc, drum, belt, tube, brush,mop, grooved disc, grooved drum)

DAF Unit

► In this unit removal is achieved by dissolving air in the water or wastewater under pressure and then releasing the air at atmospheric pressure in a flotation tank or basin.

Decanter Centrifuge

► A decanter centrifuge separates solid materials from liquids in slurry .
► A decanter centrifuge increases the rate of settling through the use of continuous rotation, producing a gravitational force between 1000 to 4000 times that of normal gravitational force. This reduces the settling time of the components by a large magnitude, whereby mixtures previously having to take hours to settle can be settled in a matter of seconds using a decanter centrifuge.

Primary Settling Tank

► Primary settling Tank consists of temporarily holding the sewage in a quiescent basin where heavy solids can settle to the bottom while oil, grease and lighter solids float to the surface.
► The settling tank design in such cases depends on both surface loading and detention time.

Bio Media

► Biofiltration is a pollution control technique using living material to capture and biologically degrade process pollutants.
► Compounds treated are typically mixed VOCs and various sulfur compounds, including hydrogen sulfide.
► Bioswales, Biostrips, Biobags, Bioscrubbers,Trickling filters, Treatment ponds are various examples of Biofiltration.

Floating Aerators

► The high-speed floating aerators are designed for lagooning, variable level tanks, and water storage basins and for mixing tanks in general.
► The water pumping action results in the transfer of the oxygen obtained from the water chipping.
► The units may be easily added or relocated to other uses as changing customer requirements may require.
► The system is particularly useful in case of variable liquid levels or whenever there is the need to oxygenate and at the same time cool down the processed liquid, or prevent odour arising.

► The structure of activated carbon has a very large surface area -1 lb of granular activated carbon has the surface area of 125 acres.
► The activated carbon surface is non-polar which results in an affinity for non-polar adsorbates such as organics.
